#102: (Doomberg) - The Work of My Life: How Doomberg Started & Why the Media Ecosystem is Changing

Greetings & welcome back to the rose bros podcast.

This episode, we are joined by the co-founder of Doomberg – an anonymous news publication that provides in-depth analysis of financial and economic trends, highlighting information missing from mainstream media.

For example, Doomberg was one of the first news publications to warn of the looming energy crisis that has since come true, as most of Europe & the rest of the world faces crippling energy prices.

Started in May of 2021, Doomberg launched as an anonymous publication arm to its content creation consulting business after a client suggested building their own content.

Through a process of continuous improvement, Doomberg has grown to the #1 paid finance newsletter on Substack with ~85,000 email subscribers & ~200,000 Twitter followers.

We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee, and among other things discussed the ratio of things you have to do vs. what you get to do during the work day, the definition of a content creator & how you can make a living doing it, education vs. entertainment, thinking for a living, combining doing what you love & doing what you’re good at, platitude dwellers & a lot more.

Enjoy!
