#58: Trevor White (Switch Power) - Olympic Skiing, Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Energy

The following is a conversation with Trevor White.

Trevor spent 10 years on the Canadian National Ski Team where he competed in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games as well as the 2009 & 2011 World Championships.

After his retirement from alpine ski racing, Trevor transitioned to the energy industry and after raising  money from investors,  used his experience to start Switch Power.

Switch Power is a sustainable energy company that develops, builds, owns, and operates  energy projects in wind, solar, gas and energy storage using an innovative energy management system.

We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee and talked about the challenges and opportunities of sustainable energy, energy economics, opportunities in renewable energy, balancing traditional energy sources (natural gas) with renewables, entrepreneurship and a lot more.

Enjoy!
