#60: Patrick Biggs - Olympic Skiing, the Ivy League & Balancing Creativity with Business

Hello and welcome to episode #60 of the Rose Bros Podcast.

Today we are joined by Patrick Biggs.

Patrick was first named to represent Canada as a member of the Canadian National Ski Team in May of 2004. Over a nine year period he competed on the International stage representing Canada at the 2006 Winter Games in Torino, the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, placed in the top 10 at two World Championships and scored top 30 results on the World Cup circuit for 7 years.

Graduating from Dartmouth College in 2012 with an A.B. majoring in Engineering and Studio Art, he then moved into the next stage of his life and started a career as a professional artist in Ottawa, Ontario with his wife and family.

We sat down for a smooth cup of Rose Bros Coffee and discussed the path to high level ski racing, leveraging sport into an Ivy league degree, life after sport, balancing creativity with business, taking the path less travelled and a lot more.

Enjoy!
