Hello and welcome to episode #66 of the rose bros podcast!

This episode we are joined by Therese Brisson – CEO of Alpine Canada.

Therese Brisson played for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team from 1993 to 2005 and was a member of the gold medal winning team at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and silver medal winning team at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

Therese also competed for Canada at 5 World Championships in 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001.

After sport, Therese earned her Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of Montreal as well as an MBA specializing in finance and management consulting from York University.

In July of 2020, she was named CEO of Alpine Canada where she was tasked with bringing a fresh perspective to the organization.

Since then, she has been working on leading Alpine Canada through the Covid-19 pandemic while simultaneously planning the future of the organization.

We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee and discussed carving Alpine Canada’s unique path forward, the importance of a winning mindset, budgets vs. organizational effectiveness, and what Alpine Canada isn’t planning on doing going forward.

Enjoy!
