Episode #6: One Tree Planted CEO - Matt Hill (How to Create a Market Based Environmental Solution)

Today we are joined by Matt Hill - founder & CEO of One Tree Planted, a non-for profit organization who's mission is to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees!

Since starting in 2014, One Tree Planted has grown to a company with over $5 million dollars in annual revenue, an employee count in the double digits and are targeting to plant over 10 million tress this year on behalf companies around the world. 

With projects based in almost every continent, One Tree Planted has become a valuable supplier of capital and job creation in many poorer nations, while at the same time contributing back to the environment in a meaningful way. 

By accepting funding from everyone from individuals all the way to major corporations, One Tree Planted has become a sustainable non-profit organization which supports the environment, and does't rely on government handouts. 

In short, it is a market driven solution that aims to solve the environmental problem that is worldwide deforestation, and the accompanying problems that arise with that such as habitat loss and species extinction.
