This episode we are joined by Trevor Tombe - Professor of Economics & Research/ Fellow at The School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary.

Trevor’s academic research explores international trade, macroeconomics, and fiscal federalism.

Trevor is also co-director of Finances of the Nation - which aims to assemble Canadian public finance data, analysis, and commentary and make it available to researchers, journalists, students, and the general public.

Trevor holds a PhD in Economics - University of Toronto (2011), MA in Economics -  University of Toronto (2006), BBA in Finance and Economics - Simon Fraser University (2005).

Among other things, we sat down and discussed inflation & the Central Bank 2% target rate, healthy interest rates & why the Alberta economy is growing.
